IN Acting in Everyday Life |
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Acting in Everyday Life is an introduction to the art and craft of acting. It is an exploration of the fundamental elements that shape the development of the mind, body, voice, and spirit of the actor/artist. Given the basic conviction that, in the words of Pablo Picasso, Every child is an artist, the problem is to remain an artist when one grows up, this course is dedicated to the journey of discovery that is the creative process of every artist/person. And given the belief that learning is a lifelong journey of discovery, the integration of the creative process into ones life is a central theme to the course. In this class the art and craft of acting are the lenses through which we see and experience our own creative journeys.
